📍 Abstract:

Did your software ever crash after moving to a different time zone? Did daylight saving ever make you have repeated timestamps in logs? Should we care about a leap second? And in what timezone the Moon is?
Date and time is 1st class citizen in Java for a couple of years already, but this domain has a lot of traps and caveats. Together we will try to tame that fantastic beast!
