WHEN: 29.04 (6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m.)
WHERE: online
WHAT: 1. Code analysis and visual code representation 2. Pimp your codebase & scale it!
Our two VL’s members are going to give special online lectures. First, Mateusz Strąg about ‘Code analysis and visual code representation’. Current IDEs are dynamically evolving, however, we are all forced to browse code by looking at flat-file structures. No information about the semantic dependencies between different units. Mateusz will show how to browse code graphically and clearly visualize semantic dependencies in TypeScript project which would result in speeding up the process of learning and understanding the code.
Then, Mateusz Ziarko will give a presentation “Pimp your codebase & scale it!”. How we may approach the topic of refreshing / rewriting / splitting our monolithic application when it is impossible to start everything again? A few words about Lambdas / Functions, Micro Services in our ecosystem, as well as about the approach to solving this problem on the client-side using the concept of Micro Front’ ends.
